During the stay, there were significant inconveniences. Key cards needed to be re-coded multiple times daily, leading to constant frustration. A persistent sour smell lingered in the room and hallways, resembling stale cigarettes, and the floors looked unclean. The TV remote was non-functional, and despite requests for replacements, it remained a problem. The coffee maker was unusable due to a mismatched carafe. One of the drawn utensils was found stored in a pool of brown liquid, making it off-limits. Additionally, the shower design caused water to spill out, creating a slipping hazard. The presence of homeless individuals outside the room made the area feel unsafe.

I loved that I could easily stroll to Carlsbad Village and the beautiful Flower Fields during my stay, making my weekend city exploration both refreshing and memorable. the room was spacious and comfy, providing a nice retreat after long days of walking.

This place is honestly pretty grimy. The rooms aren’t clean at all, totally not like the pics we saw. We found ants everywhere, and the couch was just gross. Also, no breakfast as promised. The snack bar was okay, but not enough to make up for all the bad stuff. And yeah, the pool tables? Yikes.
